This beautiful, super warm coat is made from black and brown mottled wool felt & fleece made from merino wool. The buttons are handmade by the lovely Ada Allerley, who collects her own wood and arranges it into these wonderful individual sets. The material used here is laburnum wood.
Overall, the coat is super warm and can be worn without a sweater underneath, even in sub-zero temperatures. Wool also absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture, so it can withstand even a small rain shower or snow.
